On January 15 2011 two showcases were be performed: the Winter Showcase at 1:30pm and the Performing Company Showcase at 5:30pm. You can purchase each performance for $30 each or get both for $50.

I recently worked with a local blues band on a promotional video package.
The CD Woodbury Band plays the blues at bars and festivals around the Pacific Northwest. The musicians in the band are all quite excellent and experienced, but this arrangement of personnel is relatively new so they’re still working on getting gigs from local venues. A video would really help them convince a bar owner to book them, so that was what we set out to make.
Three cameras were used to shoot this project: a Canon HF20, Canon 5D Mark II and a Panasonic HPX-170. Audio was recorded using a Zoom H4N, which was a lot better than trying to use the camera mics. The three cameras certainly don’t match each other perfectly, but they still look good, especially when viewed online which is how most people will see this video.
The YouTube version of the video has the band’s phone number and web site displayed the whole time, so when bar and venue owners switch from viewing to booking they’ll have the contact info right in front of them. The DVD has the DVD packaging to provide the info for contacting the band.
The band is really happy with the video and how it turned out, and we’re all anxious to see how it affects bookings.

February 27 2010 Wes and Jessie Plate hosted at their house a “livingroom show” featuring one of Wes’ favorite artists, Helios, AKA Keith Kenniff. One of the things that made the show even more special was that Wes projected visuals to accompany the live music performance. The effect was quite seamless and all of the attendees had a good time.
We got a nice writeup in The Stranger too, though he was off on his attendance guestimate, we had 50 guests!

Pinewood Villa is a beautiful 15-unit condo building in Snohomish, WA for adults 55 and older. We partnered up with the builder to help promote the place since there are a few units available. We interviewed five current residents then used their comments to weave a narrative for what Pinewood Villa is really all about. This video will appear on the condo’s informational web page and is also distributed to interested buyers on DVD.
This summer we worked with popular Snohomish dance studio Pacific West Performing Arts to produce a video for their web site that introduced visitors to PacWest and its offerings.
PacWest director Kelly Charlton reports she receives lots of positive feedback from her web site visitors.
